Took my 8 year old to hunt public in N WV. Found a bird and had some guys pull up behind us the second morning. He said dont worry we are going way in. He ask where we were going. I said about 800 yards up the trail where there are 3 big fresh lay downs. He said oh thats exactly where we are going to. Good luck and walked off……. If my son wasn’t with me or 8 they wouldn’t have had a chance at that bird.
You know why Louisiana and Arkansas are so hard cause us redneck’s been hunting turkeys since there was one turkey in the woods, deep southern turkeys are evil evil birds no midwest birds slaughter here.
Mental game be comes the toughest challenge on a dry spell. 🦃🚐💪🏻
