I use a cheap $35 on sale, ozark trail tent (5-6 yrs old) and every time I stay up by my sisters cabin it Storms hard, I’ve only woken up to a small puddle once or twice, and it’s been my errors that caused it. I never had to spray it or seam seal it, although I probably should this year. They aren’t horrible tents to my knowledge, even though I have heard horror stories lol
One or two or three people is subjective. The Army used to call the “shelter-half” a two-person tent. It was BARELY a one person tent.
I’ve never had an issue with any ozark trail tent. This one though I would not buy. A frame is a no go for me.
Good review. I’m in the market for something like this to take on motorcycle trips. This is definitely in my list to consider. Especially at this price point.
I could fit 2 chicks in there with me. Nobody is sleeping on the edge.
