  1. I would like to state the importance of tip #1 for new hunters. 2024 was my first deer season, I’m 35 and don’t have any living family members that hunt anymore. It was extremely disappointing coming back empty handed every day. Even though I was having a great time in the outdoors listening to the wildlife & watching the sun rise. Finally on the last day of the season I got my first whitetail (doe)!

I learned a lot & continue to do so. I am looking forward to next year! 😁

  2. I believe all good hunters have something in common old or young I feel connected to them non hunters think it’s easy cause they see animals in there yard or driving but they have no idea how difficult the sport really is I killed my PB first 2hrs of Ohio gun season this year after not hunting for 20yrs my 2nd year back killed a 128 1/2 10 point after shooting a strong 8 during Archery lost blood trail and was extremely disappointed and doubting my shot selection its hard hunting were I live just want to say don’t get down on yourselves just keep hunting hard…God bless ❀❀❀❀

  3. I’m teaching myself to hunt from books, videos and guides. I’ve been a fire arm enthusiast for close to 20 years and an outdoor lover (rock climbing).. I plan on starting next year 2026 PA deer season. This year is all about trying to learn as much as possible and work on building some basic skills. Sure wish I had some family or friend that hunt
